Two evenings set against the Colorado mountain landscape. Every chef, every dish, every pour — shaped by live flame. Global Breck is not a trend. It is a return to the elemental — smoke, char, and intention, across the world's culinary traditions.
Global Breck is a love letter to our planet and the rich traditions of cooking over coals. Ancient techniques. Cultural reverence. The elemental constraint that every culinary tradition on earth shares — and the extraordinary diversity of what cooks do within it.
Coals are the philosophy. Food is the community. Every chef, every dish, every pour must engage the coals — but what they do within that constraint is entirely theirs. Japanese, Mexican, Argentine, West African, American — one element, infinite expressions, one table.
After four successful years building Global in other Colorado high-country markets, we're proud to bring it to Breckenridge for the first time — a new, purpose-built partnership with one of Colorado's most storied mountain towns, for two landmark evenings in October 2026, and built to be here for the long term.
A historic mining site transformed into a culinary destination. 240 guests. Michelin-recognized Colorado chefs over open flame — West Home Wagyu, local Colorado proteins, fish, seafood, and caviar, all ember-kissed. Musical performance by DJ Lord, member of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill. 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, straight through sunset.
Inquire →The morning belongs to the town. Five themes — fat tire, gravel, road, a chef-led in-town hike, and a destination hike — each hosted by a local brewery, restaurant, distillery, or guide out of their own space. Hosts set their own price, sell their own tickets, and keep every dollar. Twenty-five percent goes to Matt Vawter's Bikes for Kids and PeopleForBikes. Move, gather, eat, reset — then Ridge Street at 4:00 PM.

Ridge Street closes. A free street concert opens to all of Breckenridge — DJ Lord of Public Enemy & Cypress Hill, Cut Chemist, and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 on stage. Inside, 240 guests sit at a single long communal table for a four-course family-style dinner: Westholme Wagyu tomahawks and Colorado's finest chefs work in collaboration, all over glowing coals.
Seated Dinner — Sold OutThree James Beard Best Chef: Mountain winners. Four Michelin-starred kitchens. One weekend, cooking together over coals — a lineup that has never assembled in one place before.
Ridge Street closes and the headliners take the stage. This is not two solo artists sharing a bill — it is one performance, built from a friendship that started in 1987.
They met in 1987, a couple of years after Chali moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, and formed their first group — UNITY Committee. They have been inseparable since.
In 1994 they joined forces with the local rap group Rebels Of Rhythm to form Jurassic 5. With J5 in full swing, both were also founding members of the Latin fusion group Ozomatli in 1995 — two landmark bands, at the same time.
For the last three years they have performed a special collaborative set that tells the story of their lives in music together. The catalogue is as endless as the time they have spent creating it.
The unmistakable baritone of Jurassic 5. Beyond the group, he has explored his range with Roots Manuva, Lyrics Born, Slightly Stoopid and Galactic, among many others.
A DJ's DJ, with remixes and features for DJ Shadow, Less Than Jake and Blackalicious — a body of work that runs well past the two groups that made his name.
Atlanta, Georgia
An Atlanta-based DJ and turntablist, best known as the longtime touring DJ for Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, as well as a former member of the supergroup Prophets of Rage.
He is the common thread between both evenings — the one artist on both stages, Friday at the mine and Saturday on Ridge Street.
4:00 to 6:30 PM — DJ Lord takes the turntables through sunset.
4:00 to 6:00 PM — setting the street up for Chali 2na and Cut Chemist.
Global's founder runs the opening playlist while the coals come up to heat, before Lord takes over.
Brady and Lord have been friends since 2005. During COVID they ran Cafe Quarantine, a nightly live-streamed session from Lowe's restaurant The Pantry in Atlanta that became one of the most-watched of its kind on the internet, reaching an audience of roughly 1M through the pandemic.
A thirty-nine-year friendship that keeps manifesting into music and art — and on October 10, into a free street concert open to all of Breckenridge.
Global Breck is a brand-new event for this town in 2026 — built on a live-coal culinary format that's already become a U.S. leader and a champion for sustainable agriculture. Not just about the food, but the how and the why.
Every chef. Every dish. Every pour — shaped by open flame. See what the element asks of the cook.
Whether you bring the craft, the brand, or the lens — every place at Global Breck is earned through intention.
Cook over coals for a gathered room in one of America's most dramatic landscapes. The constraint is live coals. The rest is entirely your philosophy.
